FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Are the customs at The Creature's Lab for sale?

A: No custom figures are for sale through this site. Delphar 7's customs are not for sale, but I can't speak for the customs that are showcased here made by other people. If you want to contact a customizer about possibly buying a piece, your best bet is to contact them through the link to their site under their custom figure listing.

Q: How many custom figure pictures can I submit?

A: The Creature's Lab will accept up to 5 pictures of different customs per person. If you already have 5 figures submitted, and would like the Lab to showcase your new creation. you are welcome to replace an old custom figure picture for your new custom figure pic. This may change in the future, if so, it will be noted on the site!

Q: Will you accept a custom figure picture if it is not from a horror film?

A: The Creature's Lab's main focus is horror movie action figures. That being said, The Lab welcomes pictures of original works, as long as they are nice and creepy.

Q: I have noticed that you have figures such as Vampirella and Man-Thing on your site. Do you accept submissions of comic book characters?

A: Yes, but ONLY if they are clearly monsters. For example, Vampirella is a vampiress and was created by horror guru and Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine creator Forrest J. Ackerman. Now, this is a fine line. Creatures from say the old EC Comics are more than welcome, but I won't accept customs of say The Incredible Hulk. Hulk is clearly a monster, but it is just swaying way too far away from the original purpose of this site, horror movies. The Creature's Lab is the ONLY ALL horror custom action figure site out there, and we would like to keep it that way. There MAY be some exceptions though, and you are more than welcome to e-mail Delphar 7 to see if your custom can be showcased at The Creature's Lab.

Q: Why did my custom figure change galleries?

A: In the past I would bump all customs under a persons original listings down to allow more than one custom by the same person to be in the same gallery, so that the more they submitted, you could see all of their work together. However, since the number of customs submitted has grown so much, I don't do this very often anymore. Takes way too much time to reorganize the whole main gallery and individual galleries from say an early gallery to a new one. Plus it may get too confusing for people when looking for a figure that was in say gallery 2 and is now in some other gallery somewhere.

Q: I think my custom is better than others, so why is mine in a lower gallery?

A: We do NOT play favorites here at The Creature's Lab. Pictures of customs are posted on a first come, first served basis. There should be no competition in customizing action figures.

Q: How did you make that figure, and/or what did you use?

A: Questions on how someone made their figure, should be directed at the person who made the figure, as different customizers use different methods. You will find that most customizers are quite helpful though, so don't be afraid to ask how something was done.
